Carbon Footprint

We have seen the impacts climate change is having on our planet and know that the next decade is critical.

Doing our Part in the Fight Against Climate Change

We’re proud of our history in South Australia, with 2020 marking 60 years as one of South Australia’s largest employers. Throughout this time, environmental sustainability has always been a key focus for us with large teams of experts both here in ANZ and globally purely focused on reducing our footprint.

We've achieved strong emissions reduction results but realise there is more to be done, and we are proud of our goal to ultimately become carbon neutral in our Australian operations and organisation by 2030. We’re also working towards our global SBTi approved target to cut the greenhouse gas emissions from purchased goods & services and end of life treatment of sold products by 20% (over 2015).

Recognising the important role forests play in mitigating climate change, we’re investing in nature-based solutions to help offset some of the carbon we can't yet reduce. Additionally, we maintain our commitment to FSC® certification, and in 2021 were proud to launch Australia's first Australian-made bamboo toilet paper and paper towel.
