ANZ Progress Report

In 2020, Kimberly-Clark launched new global 2030 Ambitions, which will see us improve 1 billion lives whilst halving our environmental footprint. Since then, in ANZ, we have positively impacted over 5.5 million lives and developed long-term partnerships with some of the most impactful organisations in our region, focused on important issues such as pre- and post-natal care, adult incontinence and period poverty. We completed our first Reconciliation Action Plan in 2022, which is Kimberly-Clark Australia’s commitment to progressing reconciliation in Australia.

We're working to reduce our environmental footprint, too. Globally we’re working towards cutting direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 50%, against our 2015 baseline. In 2022, we removed over 400 tonnes of plastic from our packaging and products and we launched the Nappy Loop recycling trial, a first of its kind in Australia!

These are just a few examples of how we’re showing care for people and the planet; more detail on these and other initiatives can be found in our 2022 Sustainability Snapshot. We know theres a lot more to be done, and we look forward to sharing further updates as we progress.
