Being part of a caring culture is foundational to who we are at Kimberly-Clark. As a company, we are working to advance the well-being of 1 billion people in underserved communities around the world by 2030. We are also committed to supporting the local communities where we live and work through company giving and employee volunteerism. Our community engagement activities create value for our organization by strengthening the communities where we operate, building our corporate reputation and license to operate, enhancing our brand as an employer, and driving engagement and goodwill among our employees.
Kimberly-Clark’s trusted brands also lead ongoing initiatives to provide better care for communities, strengthened by local volunteers. These efforts include Toilets Change Lives and Kotex’s #SheCan initiative, two longstanding programs that have impacted millions of lives globally.
The Kimberly-Clark Foundation brings to life our purpose to deliver Better Care for a Better World. Through strategic partnerships and long-term investments, the Foundation partners with global NGOs and local nonprofits to deliver meaningful and sustainable change in line with our social impact strategy, focusing on maternal and infant health, women’s and girls’ empowerment, and access to clean water, safe sanitation, and hygiene. Its ultimate goal is driving systems change in communities around the world for generations to come.
Each year, Kimberly-Clark employees volunteer with local nonprofit organizations on efforts ranging from diaper need and neonatal care education to supporting essential workers during COVID-19. The Kimberly-Clark Foundation’s Community Partners program recognizes these efforts by providing $500 grants to charitable organizations to which U.S. employees or their spouses have volunteered at least 30 hours. U.S. employees can also double their personal donations to qualified charitable organizations through the Foundation’s Matching Gifts program.
