340 Thai companies support use of tissues for the environment

Ms Jiraporn Chaisombat (first row – 3rd from left), Director and General Manager, Kimberly-Clark Professional, along with Dr Chaiya Boonyakit (first row – 3rd from right) presented the ‘Global Green Certificates” to 340 of Thailand’s leading companies, which have been honored for their committed to protecting the environment.  The awards recognize the companies’ efforts to preserve the environment by selecting environmentally-friendly tissue products that are made of recycled pulp certified by the Thailand Environment Institute for their corporate use. The recycled pulp comes from commercial forests and this practice has eliminated the need to cut down over 28,000 trees in natural forests.  The event was held at Jupiter 13 Room, Challenger Hall, Muang Thong Thani.
