Climate Change

We've pledged to reduce our absolute total greenhouse gas emissions by 5 percent by 2015 - a challenging but necessary goal - even as we are projected to grow our business.

Building on our demonstrated commitment to address climate change, we're proud to announce that we've developed our first goal to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on an absolute basis. Our desire to develop a global climate change management strategy is based on an understanding of the science of climate change and an awareness of the changing regulatory environment surrounding GHGs.

Sustainability 2015 Goal: Reduce global Kimberly-Clark absolute GHG emissions by 5 percent from 2010 level by 2015.

Reaching our Sustainability 2015 goals

Our business and facility managers participated in setting this goal and are responsible for achieving it. The Global Sustainability Team helps business units implement, measure and report their progress to management.
