Partnerships and Programs

To help us address the full spectrum of economic, environmental and social sustainability issues, we work with non-governmental organizations to share ideas, build consensus and deliver on the promise for a better future.

World Wildlife Fund

Kimberly-Clark began a collaboration with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in the U.S., partially through our participation in WWF's Global Forest and Trade Network (GFTN). WWF is the world's largest conservation organization, and its GFTN program is dedicated to promoting responsible forest management and conserving the world's valuable and threatened forests. Kimberly-Clark is supporting a number of forestry projects that will help identify and map Endangered Forests and High Conservation Forests as well as help to increase the amount of environmentally responsible fiber used to make our products.

Greenpeace

In 2009, Kimberly-Clark and Greenpeace, a leading environmental organization, began working together to reinforce the company's progressive fiber sourcing standards. The agreement has brought additional protection to special forest areas and clear targets for Kimberly-Clark to increase its usage of environmentally-preferred fibers in our North American tissue products. To further our stakeholder engagement, we have continuous dialogue with Greenpeace to gain their perspective on other important sustainability issues.
