Corporate Citizenship in Argentina

Argentina Communicative Social Responsibility

Each year the Argentina CSR (Communicative Social Responsibility) award is presented to corporations, NGOs and the media for outstanding actions that benefit the community.

In 2008, Kimberly-Clark Argentina was awarded the "CSR Prize" for its Posta Sanitaria (First Aid Post) community health program. Kimberly-Clark was selected out of a pool of more than 300 leading companies in Argentina.

The Posta Sanitaria is part of Kimberly-Clark's Community Relations Program, +comUNIDAD. The program's goal is to improve the health of local residents by providing health care treatment and promoting qualitative changes in people's health attitudes and habits in Derqui, Pilar. Through this program, Kimberly-Clark Argentina improves the quality of life for the more than 25,000 inhabitants of Derqui, Pilar, where the company is located.

In addition, Kimberly-Clark Argentina reached the No. 2 position in the "Drugs and Perfumery" sector ranking and 19th in the general ranking of the Company Reputation Ranking in Argentina, organized by Merco (Corporate Reputation Monitor) in 2010.
