Kimberly-Clark partners with its U.S. customers to make the
communities where Kimberly-Clark and their customers live and work
better, stronger places.
Kimberly-Clark and Kroger
In the spirit of giving back this holiday season,
Kimberly-Clark's Kroger business team in West Chester, Ohio, spent
the Tuesday before Thanksgiving volunteering at the Freestore Food
Bank in downtown Cincinnati. Some members of the team donated
their time to aid families in need by packing and bagging meals
while others delivered those meals to families nearby.
The team chose this service activity because it aligned with
Kimberly-Clark's mission to provide essentials for a better life
and our value of caring, but it also supported the community
betterment goals and values of an important customer. Kroger
is a valuable sponsor of the Cincinnati community, especially this
food bank, and appreciated Kimberly-Clark's partnership outside of
the business environment.
The partnership has been so successful that the teams plan to
make it an ongoing activity and expand to other local
organizations. For even greater effect, the Kimberly-Clark
Kroger business team designed T-shirts depicting Kimberly-Clark's
vision of Leading the world in essentials for a better life and
strategy of Creating a better a future. These will be worn at
all future service events.
Kroger, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, is the largest grocery

Rock for the Cure, conducted breast cancer awareness sessions and
distributed free samples of Poise brand products.
