Kimberly-Clark Professional's sales division works closely with distributors, securing new end user accounts and preserving existing business. Members of our sales team work in district, regional and national positions, selling products for use to a wide and diverse range of professional environments, including manufacturing, safety, scientific, lodging, healthcare, office buildings, facilities, food service, education, government and food processing operations. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING |

Most new hires start within the district sales organization. You will utilize interpersonal skills, along with acquired functional and technical knowledge, to maintain professional business relationships with our wholesale distribution partners and major end users.
Accountabilities include:
market segment sales results - Achieves assigned growth and sales goals by identifying and selling new end user accounts and by retaining and increasing the profitable penetration of existing end user accounts.
analysis and opportunity identification - Prepares a market analysis that identifies opportunities in assigned territory, in concert with district manager. Implement a territory sales plan and introduce sales initiatives that address or capitalize on those opportunities.
communication - Maintains effective communications to inform district team members and district managers on the status of accounts, trials, plans and programs in process; changing conditions, attitudes and requirements in the marketplace, competitive activities, and issues or accomplishments which might affect business results.
distributor relationships - Establishes effective business relationships with key distributor personnel to foster trust and influence opportunities; enhances distributor effectiveness through lead generation and the sale of K-C products, joint-sales initiatives and with the implementation of sales programs; and handles customer orders, complaints and requests for information concerning products, availability and prices.

district sales positions include the following:
- account manager / market manager - mid level sales
- senior market manager / market development manager - senior level sales
- district manager - provides sales leadership to district (six to eight sales professionals)
regional team positions include the following:
- capability development manager – provides sales training and development to the field sales organization
- regional business manager – provides financial analysis and support to districts and regions
- director of sales - provides leadership to region (approximately 36-50 people)
national team positions include the following:
- customer & channel development - calls on specialty channels
- national accounts manager - calls on major accounts with national scope
- director of sales - provides North American leadership in specific functions (such as capability and staffing, pricing, national accounts, business development, etc.)
- vice president, sales - provides overall sector leadership to sales force (approximately 250 people)
