Our finance summer internship program offers students the chance to explore the breadth of opportunities available in corporate finance while working on projects such as cost and financial analysis, competitive analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cost accounting and financial controls.

 

Internships are available for college juniors and seniors majoring in finance or accounting. We require a minimum overall GPA of 3.2/4.0 with some exposure to upper level courses in your major area of study. Finance internships at K-C typically run June through August and a normal work week is 40 to 45 hours.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Interns are given assignments that will help you connect theory and reality by building application skills on top of the classroom knowledge you've already acquired. Assignments vary and will be at our corporate locations in Dallas, Texas, Knoxville, Tenn., Neenah, Wis., or Roswell, Ga. Some assignments may include exposure to one of our production facilities. Working side-by-side with recent college graduates and other professionals, you'll be assigned projects in a variety of areas such as business analysis, strategic analysis, treasury, audit, accounting and reporting, training and development and cost analysis.
