Compensation
In addition, Kimberly-Clark believes compensation should be aligned with performance.
As a result, K-C seeks to create compensation programs where pay components such
as base salary adjustments and short- and long-term incentive awards are aligned
with individual and/or business performance. Short-term incentive (or bonus) plans
are offered to some employees. Short-term incentive plan payouts are aligned with
business performance. Long-term awards are comprised of stock options and performance
restricted share units. As with the short-term incentive plan, long-term award payouts
are based on company performance.
