Jan Spencer is President of Kimberly-Clark Professional, North Atlantic.

Kimberly-Clark Professional, North Atlantic is a business of approximately $2 billion in sales. This business sector includes commercial tissue and wipers, and skin care, safety, and Do-It-Yourself products.

Jan hosted her Majesty the Queen at the official opening of Coleshill mill in 1992 and has been instrumental in developing and launching European hand towels using the UCTAD technology in 1995 and the North Atlantic WypAll® X wiper range in 1999 which now represents a very profitable $200 million business.
Jan Spencer joined Kimberly-Clark in Manchester, UK, in 1979 as a Commercial Sales Representative, and later held Product Manager, Business Analyst, and Business Manager Positions from 1980 to 1988. From 1988 to 1996 he held a number of business positions in Europe including Director of Washroom Business, VSE to UCTAD Project Manager and the Scott Merger Integration Manager In 1996, he transferred to the US as the VP, Research, Development & Engineering in the Away From Home Sector and then in 1998, he was appointed VP, Wiper Business. In 2000, he returned to Europe as the VP of Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain in the
Kimberly-Clark Professional Sector and in 2002 was promoted to President, KCP Europe. In 2003, he was appointed to President, KCP North America.

In 2004, he was promoted to President – Kimberly Clark Professional North Atlantic.

Jan earned a bachelor's degree in Textile Technology and Management Sciences from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.

Jan was born in 1955 in Rostrup, Germany. He is based at Kimberly-Clark's Roswell, Georgia Business to Business headquarters. Jan and his wife, Miriam, have three children.
